Barbos is our most utilitarian dog. He has achieved his AKC Utility title! He is great with stock and birds. Wonderful in protection and guarding. He is extremely mentally stable as his high ranking AKC obedience titles reflect this. He has legs in AKC Lure Coursing as well. He has received high remarks from the AKC conformation judges as he has beautiful anatomy and a very powerful correct rear. However, he is not a desired color for the conformation ring but his outstanding character cannot be overlooked because of an undesirable color for the conformation ring as we see this as secondary to a dog's mental working quality and his physical soundness cannot be overlooked either! He has numerous qualities to pass on to the next generation of future working dogs.
